Bad Ingredients Don't Only Affect Us...They Affect Our Pets Too!

When most people pick up food for their dog, they aren't very concerned with the ingredients because they trust the happy little pup on the front of the bag, almost like it is a spokesperson for doggies health. However, most of the food offered for dogs carry carcinogens, which are cancer causing ingredients that are putting your dog at a heightened risk of exposure. Also in the human world, we all know that McDonald's is not a good, nutritious meal to feed your family so why were you do it for your dog? Many of the brands offered have no nutritional value and are in fact leading to obesity and diabetes in your canine friend. Many of the name brand dog foods such as, Beneful, Iams and Blue Buffalo are actually causing cancer and obesity in dogs since the main ingredients are corn meal when it should be a protein, like chicken to keep your pet lean. One way to avoid these misleading brands is either research the brand you purchase and make sure the ingredients are compatible and nutritious for your furry Friend. Or you could cook home cooked means where you feed them a "raw" diet like nature intended, but this option is much more pricey than the others. Therefore, in conclusion be cautions of what you are feeding your pets, just because something is advertised for dogs doesn't mean it is safe for them!
